The first match of the tournament was me against Barry. I win for 8-4 because Barry had more unforced errors than me. I just put the ball back to his court and wait for him to kill himself.
I met the number one seed, called Joshua, in my second single match. I ate 8 eggs coz I got too much unforced errors.
Then Barry and I had a doubles against the number 4 seed. We both did well in the first 3 games and lead for 3-0. However, we lost two critical points that we lead at 40-0 and finally we were beaten for 5-8.
I think I have to be more consistent in my strokes and cut my unforced errors into half. Moreover, a good footwork is very important coz it helps you always get in the right position to hit the ball.
TO DOs in this summer:
- more doubles practices with Barry
- get fitter - able to run for at least 5 K
- better footwork
- solid volley
- better return of serve
- hit the ball on the rise
- etc.

Frankie and I paired up and played doubles in the tournament. We lost for 6-8.
It was indeed a close match. Just several minutes after the match started, we were down at 0-3. Fall behind in such a big margin at the beginning indicated that we did not warm up well and more importantly, we were not concentrate enough. This was critical!
In spite of the fact that we played lots of great tennis afterwards, still we can't find the way to win the match.
Genuinely, I was not satisfied with my performance, especially the first 3 games. Although Frankie and I had been practicing a lot before, still we lost because of our mentality. I know this was my real weakness and this was also a reason for my unforced errors and inconsistent strokes.
Can any one suggest some solutions for me to overcome the mental stress during big matches?

Metthew, that's a good sign that u know what u did wrong. In order to due with the lack of concentration, especially during the beginning of a match. My experience is to set a simple target in the first few games. For example, aimed cross court when u return, get the first serve in, play percentage tennis, give yrself a picture in head what yr shot will look like before u play. Other than that, make sure u are relax by doing some little jump, take deep breathe, don't rush for another point especially when u are losing. Those are all routie that every pros are doing i/o of worrying about our nerve. Think about that, everyone is nervious including our opponent, that's normal n we can overcome it by doing those thing I mentioned above.
By the way, hv u fgure out yr plan next year yet? We all wish u the best no matter what yr decision is n all of us are very appreciated about yr job as a caption.

The first match is I paired with Brian played doubles in the tournament. We lost 1-8. We have tried our best to try to win,to reduce unforced errors, during the match,my right elbow was hurt by the fence which in the court.when the score is 1-7,it is my serve,I have 3double faults and one unforced error, and lead the match end.
At the second match,I played not so well, because my right hand was pain,I play with Jordan,I lose 3-8,I am not good at playing some approch shots, most of time i lose is from this kind of balls.I ran a lot to safe the ball and hit a power stroke, and my left leg was clonus when the score is 2-5,
After the score is 3-6,my right has hurt,(this hurt lead me need to have a week to rest)I called a medical time out,i help my leg cool down, but i can not ran and rush anymore,so i lost again.

I think I must train more Volley and approch shots, because i am very weak on these.

To be honest, Louvre is not a natural athlete as the other team members. However, he is full of enthusiasm n we should appreciated that. Without him, this article won't exsist coz he's the boy who bring the wyk team into the tournament. A big thanks to Louvre.
I saw Louvre n Brain played n that's really not a shame to lost to a well experienced n better opponent. They had tried their best by chasing every pin pointed goundstroke n returning those rocket serve that they'd never face. Though they lost by quite a margin. Their spirit to fight is one of the best among our team. I'm sure they will improve by practicing and record their first win soon.
Where are the other boys????

my first match, the player has not come, but I still have to wait for 15 minute, when I wait until the last 3 minute,it begin to rain and the match delay a hour then a wait for a hour then it stop to rain the player have come too so I wait for 15 minute again, but at the last 5 minutes it rain again ,after half an hour it stop to rain but the player haven't come too,so I wait 15 minute again, luckly in that 15 minutes haven't rain , so I walkover the player ,it have already waste my whole morning, and I feel very sorry about my second ,because I have been walkover by the other player,I haven't check the timetable only one day, because on that day I went back home very late ,at the next day the timetable already update I can find my name already I think next time I will be more carefully

rain delay is always a torture for a tennis player but that's part of the game. Meanwhile, checking yr own schedule is also part of the game too. So, pls make sure u know when u are going to play in the coming tournament. Wish u hv a good run.
WHERE ARE THE OTHER BOYS????

My first match of the tournament was me against Kenneth Ip, a seed 4 player. I lost for 0-8. His strokes were powerful and very fast, drop and lop were accurate. It made me running round the court and I was so tired to play after the first few games. I was exhausted after the match. ai...I think I need to improve my poor physical strength.

I paired with Metthew in my second match. We lost for 6-8. It was really a close match, we were down for 0-3 at first, 1-4,2-5,4-5,5-6,6-7,6-8. I think we played quite well, but still not concentrated enough and have determination to win the match. Our opponents are not very strong, but they have consistent serves and strokes which we don't have. I think we were too nervous at the critical points and couldn't win the game.

I want to improve my physical strength, consistent forehand and backhand instead of powerful stroke, my 'fart' second serve.
